Right now, BMD is offering an unprecedented deal where you get their new Speed Editor keyboard and a Studio license for $300. Have you contacted your vendor directly and asked them if they have any licenses available without the Speed Editor deal? One of your vendors may be able to provide you with a license (or a dongle) if you call or email them directly instead of just going online and trusting web stores. Based on the features you need, it sounds like you're an industry professional, who would presumably have a working relationship with numerous vendors for the tens of thousands of dollars of hardware and licensing required for proper Dolby Vision and Atmos. Off the top of my head the most production-critical functions could be Dolby Vision, immersive audio formats, or video noise reduction, but if you need DV/immersive audio I really have no idea why you haven’t contacted your vendor yet.Įdit to add: if you’re desperate for a license and your vendor also happens to sell cameras or the Advanced Panels, most BMD cameras and at the very least the Advanced Color Grading Panels include a license or dongle of some kind. Or, I don’t know, tell us which features you need in the Studio version (and maybe a budget) so desperately so we can give you recommendations for alternatives. I understand there’s currently a shortage of licenses immediately available for purchase due to the Speed Editor bundle, but call your vendor and ask if they’ve got the license without the speed editor available for purchase if you need it that badly. So it’s the manufacturer’s problem your competitor either previously purchased or illegally cracked the latest beta version of the software? Also, how do you even know they cracked Resolve or are running a beta? This is on Black Magic Design for making software that can be downloaded and then upgraded through a crack, and a retail system that punishes the end user for wanting to do it right. I've never used Resolve before - this is all a first impression after trying to get certain features only available in the Studio version of this software. There is no logical way to turn this around and say it's my fault somehow. And then people here - seriously? I'm a new customer to BMD Resolve, wanting to buy the full and legal version of their software, and I can't do what my competitor is capable of doing because they were able to find a workaround that I shouldn't have to. Update: Again, only trying to do the right thing and feeling like I'm getting punished for it. Anyone who is waiting and "doing the right thing" is getting royally f*cked here. Why is it that I'm still waiting to get a licensed copy of Resolve 17, and a competitor now has it (a cracked version, apparently), is using it, and taking advantage of it while I am waiting, trying to be legal and do the right thing? WTF, BMD? BMD needs to release it NOW.

While some of these characters are collaborations with other franchises, we can expect Tekken 8 to at least have the same number of playable characters. As of Tekken 7, there are 54 different characters to choose from. Whether it be punching, kicking, grappling, or shooting (yes, some of them have guns), there is a character for everyone. Players can try the characters out and discover a character that fits their playstyle. Each of the characters has different fighting styles and playstyles. The player chooses one character from a wide and varied roster and uses them to fight against others. He asks fans to "wait a little longer," which they'll likely find easier now that Tekken 8 gameplay has been shared.Tekken 8 is a fighting game, one that has existed since 1994 for the Playstation. Harada confirms that while Tekken 8 is in development, it isn't far enough along for Bandai Namco to confirm a release date yet. While today's Tekken 8 announcement trailer is certainly more substantial than the teaser shared during EVO 2022, it's also a teaser in its own right. That's not to say Tekken 8 isn't visually impressive, it absolutely is, but it's also clear this is more than just a generational step forward. Tekken 7 was originally released on arcade machines in 2015, eventually arriving on PC and consoles in 2017. To say that Tekken 8 sets itself apart from Tekken 7 is a significant under exaggeration. Harada hopes it's clear how Tekken 8 "sets itself apart" from Tekken 7. Harada asks Tekken fans to notice the updated character models, how the rain droplets roll off characters' skin, the stage's dynamic weather effects, and the seamless transitions between gameplay and cinematic flourish. It's real-time gameplay running at 60fps on Playstation 5. The trailer ends with Jin activating his Devil gene to take an advantage in the fight.Ī blog post from Tekken 8 chief producer Katsuhiro Harada has since confirmed that this sequence is taken from Tekken 8's story mode. The trailer then segues directly into gameplay with the pair battling on a rocky stage, rain pouring down, and crackling lightning in the background. Captured from a PlayStation 5, the trailer started with an in-engine cinematic showdown between Kazuya and his son, Jin Kazama. Tekken fans are hopefully now ready, as the PlayStation State of Play announcement trailer for Tekken 8 didn't hold back. RELATED: PlayStation Store Lists PS1 Game Tekken 2 for Nearly $10,000 The video then ended with a message reading, "Get Ready." Only, as the original PlayStation-era Kazuya smirked, he transformed into a modern high-fidelity version of himself. The video starts with a clip from the original Tekken where Kazuya throws his father, Heihachi, off a cliff and then turns toward the screen and smirks. The fans were pointed to the screen above the EVO stage where an eight-second video played. The Tekken 8 teaser shown during EVO 2022 didn't give away much. Those fans likely won't complain too much, now that it's clear Tekken 8 will be arriving before long. Few expected a surprise announcement during a September PlayStation State of Play, though. Tekken fans have been anxiously awaiting news regarding the future of the franchise after Bandai Namco dropped a major teaser during EVO 2022. Bandai Namco is officially working on Tekken 8, the developer announced as part of Tuesday's PlayStation State of Play. But around episode 4 or 5 things starts to pick up when these differing characters begin to interact and help each other out. However subsequent episodes are a little wobbly, struggling to find its footing due to the build-up of characters’ backstory (the risk of having eight stories is that some are interesting, and some are not) and that vague looming threat. The pilot episode of Sense 8 starts intriguingly with Darryl Hannah making a cameo (though her name is listed in the nice cross-cultural opening credit with stirring score from Johnny Klimek and Tom Tykwer) as a troubled sensate whose predicament becomes a catalyst that brings together the other characters. They even have a villain: a group called the Whispers, whose mission is still unclear to me largely due to the constant cryptic warning of head sensates (Naveen Andrews) who every time he appears never really explains who he is, what they are or what kind of threat they’re dealing with (I guess only in movies does such character exist). Yes, these characters-called sensates-are like superhero characters sans the “super” prefix and skin-tight costume, and their powers of course are more grounded in reality. Michael Straczynski ( Babylon 5), tells the story of eight random people-a police officer in Chicago, a transwoman hacktivist in San Francisco, a safe-cracker in Berlin, a scientist in Mumbai, a gay actor in Mexico City, a bus driver in Nairobi, a corporate businesswoman in Seoul, and an Icelandic DJ living in London-who are telepathically linked that makes them able to communicate with each other, switching location back and forth in the process, and in times of stress, merged with one character so that he/she are able to showcase their expertise (fighting, shooting, doctoring, speed driving, bomb making, etc). But watching Netflix’s original series, Sense8, I can’t help to notice and admire the stellar work of the editors: here is a 12-episode series that features eight interconnected stories set in various countries and, during the height of its thrilling - and at times violent - action scenes, characters will appear-however briefly-in and out as backup help.īut first let me give you a brief outlay of the picture: Sense8, the brainchild of Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski ( The Matrix) and J. "Toget8 we stand." I never really pay much attention to the art of editing before-most movies or TV shows, in my eyes, just have that effortless fluidity (or maybe I’m just not a technical person).
